98 year old Priscilla Sitienei has gone back to primary school studying alongside pupils who are young enough to be her great-grand children in Rift Valley, Kenya. She is now in 6th grade. According to her, she used to work as a traditional midwife, but insists that she is now studying to become a doctor. Fondly called ‘Gogo’ which means grandmother in her native Kalenjin dialect, Priscilla is already an inspiration for many women in Africa and beyond.

Mrs Unyime Roland Inwang, a fashion designer, who trained 3 other women in tailoring got surprised on International Women’s Day. To encourage and appreciate her for the philanthropic gesture of training women like her, and also to help her to train more, Edidiong Akpan-Iquot surprised Unyime with a beautiful weaving machine, an equipment she did not have prior.

Gift Asuquo; she has a BSC in Sociology from the University of Calabar. She did not have an employed job and was sponsored to catering school and has finished. She’s ready to start her catering business and has just received capital in form of a custom made oven.
